Circles Of Care (COC); where every family is nurtured through the intentional efforts of pastoral care. These efforts are led by the Diaconate, Mothers and those selected from the Congregation of St. Paul.
Once a month; those designated as COC “Nurturers” will do the following for each family listed within their “Circle”:
The Call Each Nurturer will make a telephone call to...
Stay in touch with families within their assigned Circle to pray, encourage, enlighten, inform and celebrate with each family.
Build relationships of closeness with each family desiring to maximize the “caring culture” of SPMBC.
Inform the Pastoral Staff of concerns where church assistance is required.
Assist with “follow-up and follow-thru” of concerns voiced to SPMBC
Provide a base for greater recognition of persons, i.e. celebrations, graduations, etc.
Each quarter or fifth Sunday;
All Circles will come together for a time of Fellowship, food and covenant.
Circles will take on additional “nurture points” i.e. repasts for home-goings, birthday & anniversary celebrations, push each other for Christian excellence; New Disciples, School Of Discipleshipp (SOD), The Refreshing Hour, etc.
Enjoy the fellowship!
